IFLA Europe Regional Division Committee Mid-term Meeting: Advocacy for Libraries in Europe

The IFLA Europe Regional Division Committee (ERDC) holds its 2026 mid-term meeting in Greece on 24–25 September. The first day features a KR21 workshop in Athens on the Let Libraries Be Libraries agenda and coalition-building for copyright advocacy. The second day is a symposium on "Advocacy for libraries in Europe: Unifying the field," held at the University of Piraeus, with two core panels:
- Panel 1 (10:00–11:20): European Library Advocacy – Strategies and Perspectives
- Panel 2 (11:50–13:30): National Initiatives, Campaigns, and the Role of Research Libraries
