KR21 is a conference partner of Open Knowledge: Wikimedia & Research in the CEE Region (9-10 October), the first conference in Central and Eastern Europe to bring together the Wikimedia community with researchers working on Wikimedia projects, open science and the democratisation of knowledge. Organised by Wikimedia Polska, Wikimedia Ukraine and the University of Silesia, the programme covers open science, Wikidata and open data, Wikimedia in education and academic libraries, disinformation and the information ecosystem, and the impact of AI on Wikipedia.
